What it does for your package

Wedding photography packages are getting more competitive every year. Albums and slideshows are table stakes; what couples talk about in their group chat the week after is the thing that wasn't on the price sheet. A cinematic face-swap clip of the couple is exactly that — a "wait, how did they do that" moment they share with everyone.

The setup is minimal. You send the couple a link to the bot, they send a selfie from their phone, you receive the clip and bundle it with the gallery or the slideshow. Per-render cost is $9 (or free for the trial); you can charge whatever the market will bear for the package add-on.

How it fits your workflow

  1. When you send the contract / welcome packet, include the bot link and a line like "your cinematic clip is included — send one selfie when you're ready."
  2. The couple sends a selfie. Even lighting, looking at the camera, no sunglasses. Most do it from the kitchen table.
  3. The bot returns a clip in about 2 minutes. You receive it via the couple's chat (or you can drive the bot yourself with their photo, with consent).
  4. Bundle the clip with the gallery / slideshow. Optionally score it in your editor of choice for an extra-cinematic feel.

Pricing your add-on

Most photographers price the cinematic clip add-on at $50-150 depending on the package and market. At a $99 price point, your margin on a $9 render is 90% — the rest is your time to coordinate. At a $149 price point with a "save-the-date + thank-you" bundle (2 paid renders), your margin is still 87%.

The per-render cost is a pass-through, not a margin center. The value is in the experience of offering something the couple can't get from another photographer without the same workflow.

How much Standin costs (your cost)

The couple's first render is free (watermarked — useful for "test it before you book the package"). Paid renders are $9, no watermark, full quality. Pay by card or crypto, in the chat. For a typical package add-on: 1 free trial + 2-3 paid renders per couple.

Common questions

How do I offer this to my couples?

Most photographers add it as a paid add-on to their photo or video package ($50-150 per clip, you set the price). You send the couple a link to the bot, they send a selfie from their phone, you receive the cinematic clip and deliver it as part of the package.

Can the couple request specific scenes?

Yes — the bot ships with a fixed set of pre-loaded scenes (action hero, rockstar, astronaut, and more being added). The couple picks from those. Custom scenes aren't supported today.

What's the turnaround?

About 2-3 minutes per render. You can deliver same-day if the couple is on it. Most photographers schedule the swap 1-2 weeks before delivery and bundle it with the photo gallery.

Who pays — the couple or me?

Either. The most common model is you cover the $9 per render and bundle it into your package price, since the couple is paying for a delivered experience.
