Tips for a meme that actually lands
- Match the energy — for a "shocked" template, look a little shocked. Comedy reads when the source matches the scene.
- Use a friend's selfie (with consent) — surprise memes land harder with a face the group recognizes.
- Keep it short — 3–8 seconds is the sweet spot. Anything longer stops feeling like a meme.
- Forward, don't repost — the result is a real video file, so it forwards clean into any chat.
